Alison G. Ivey, JD

Alison is the principal of Ivey Law PLLC and was the former General Counsel of Vulcan LLC (now Vale Group). Over more than 20 years at Vulcan, Alison worked closely with the company’s art team to bring practical, experienced counsel on significant transactions involving fine art, collectibles, and museum-related assets. Her work has included major public auctions, private acquisitions and deaccessions, traveling exhibitions and loans, artist commissions, and collection management matters.

Alison received her law degree magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law and has has been an adjunct professor at SU teaching art and antiquities law.
